About ICLAP 2050

Our Vision

ISARD recognizes that climate change has global causations and impacts, yet there is a growing consensus on addressing the 2°C challenge through local action. However, at the local level, there is disintegrated knowledge on: (a) short-, mid- and long-term climate vulnerability, (b) the current economy and GHG structures and their future pathways, and (c) useful mitigation and adaptation measures undertaken elsewhere.  In order to address this  challenge in the Asia-Pacific region, there is an impending need to introduce Integrated Climate Action Planning (ICLAP)

Our Expertise

The ICLAP model is  a decision-making model, that can assimilate useful information about climate mitigation, adaptation and best practices.. ICLAP is prepared in an internationally collaborative manner, by a team of eight experts from five different countries in the Asia-Pacific region; three developing (China, India & Thailand) and two developed ones (Japan & Australia).

Our Innovations

We are constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible in empirical data driven environmental design, planning and policy. Our team is always exploring new materials, methodologies, and techniques to create a state of the art tool that is highly functional and application-oriented.
